Batumi International Airport (BUS), also known as Alexander Kartveli Batumi International Airport, is the third-largest airport in Georgia and serves the Adjara region on the Black Sea coast. The airport handles seasonal traffic peaking in summer, with regular flights to Tbilisi, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, and Dubai. Unique feature: the runway runs alongside the Batumi seafront and is shared with the Turkish-operated military strip just across the border at Hopa.
