4. Compare dates without a cheapest-day promise

5. Compare airlines and the operating carrier

7. Check baggage and entry documents

Check personal-item, cabin-bag and checked-bag allowances separately for the selected fare and every flight. Weight, dimensions and additional fees depend on the ticket and carrier; an airline name alone is not enough. Entry requirements depend on nationality, passport type, destination, transit and purpose. Ordinary Georgian biometric passport holders can make eligible visa-free short visits to the Schengen area for up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the area. Diplomatic, service and official passports have different rules. Check official entry and transit guidance, passport validity and any requirements for children before booking. Tbilisi Airport lists municipal bus 337 for travel between the airport and the city. Kutaisi Airport publishes a city shuttle and intercity transfer information. Check the current operator timetable, pickup point and ticket price for your flight rather than using an old taxi or bus estimate. For Batumi, check the airport’s current transport options and the route from your address. Follow the airline’s check-in and boarding deadlines and allow for traffic, baggage drop and document checks. An early departure may require a different transfer plan from daytime travel.

9. Before departure

Review your booking status, ticket details and airline schedule. Complete check-in according to the operating airline’s instructions and confirm whether a mobile boarding pass is accepted for your airport and route. Keep accessible copies of relevant travel documents. Check roaming charges with your mobile operator and currency conversion with your bank.
