Baggage and flight tickets: compare the full cost

Compare two tickets for the same dates, number of travellers and baggage needs. The starting price alone is not enough to choose a flight.

Decide what you will carry: a small personal item, a cabin suitcase or checked baggage. Check the number of pieces, weight and dimensions separately. The label Economy does not mean all these items are included.

For a return trip, check both directions. Cabin baggage rules may differ when multiple airlines operate the journey. Turkish Airlines advises checking the particular booking and ticket conditions and refers to the operating carrier’s rules for journeys involving other airlines. Official source.

Compare the ticket price plus required additional baggage, selected services and applicable payment fees. Do not compare a baggage-inclusive total with a fare that excludes the baggage you need.
