About Paris

Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is the main Air France hub and the fastest single-connection point from Tbilisi to West Africa, the Caribbean, and South America. Georgian Airways flies TBS-CDG seasonally 2-3 times weekly during summer; otherwise the route requires a connection via Istanbul (Turkish Airlines), Frankfurt (Lufthansa), or Vienna (Austrian). Air France itself has not consistently operated Tbilisi service, so SkyTeam mileage earning typically requires the KLM/AMS routing. CDG is large and notoriously confusing - 3 terminals (1, 2, 3), multiple sub-zones (2A-2G), and shuttle connections between them. Build at least 90 minutes for any onward transfer. Paris itself is a 4-night minimum visit for most Georgian travelers: Louvre, Versailles, Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, and day trips to Reims or Giverny.

Peak: April-June + September-October. Avoid August - many shops + restaurants closed for vacation.
